Songs with sensitive lyrics are marked as “explicit” in Spotify. We offer a feature that lets you exclude all tracks that are tagged as explicit from playing. This is a setting that is on by default, if you want to change the setting, you can do so by:

1. Log in to with your email address and password

2. Click on “Settings”

3. Scroll down to “Explicit settings” and turn on the feature

Please note that it’s up to each record label to decide which tracks should be marked as explicit. You might find songs that you think should be tagged as explicit, but they are not. We recommend that you have an internal routine for your staff to communicate to you if a song needs to be removed from your personal playlist. If there is a song that needs to be removed from a non-explicit soundtrack, please contact us.
